Dry Creek Residence
 
This project was a major remodel to an existing log cabin style house near Healdsburg, Ca. Log houses in dry climates are notorious for shrinking and settling. For this remodel we designed a new wall system using conventional wall framing with a 'log veneer'. The new walls are dimensionally stable and look identical to the 'old' log walls. We worked to integrate the new great room addition with the existing pool. We designed a dramatic all steel trellis for the pool deck and coordinated with the landscape architect to create an appealing exterior poolside space.
